pictures...

This weekend I was able to throw a shower for a friend of mine here, Since I'm already in baby mode it was fun to plan. There were a few of us pregnant ladies here so the food was planned accordingly :) Decaf coffee punch (the best thing ever) and brunch yummies...

I know have a very cheesy tired smile here, but none the less here I am ready to have this baby but only at 38 weeks...
I finally found coming home outfits for baby girl/boy! The little flower hat was fun to make, but I could only find a white hat. If baby is a girl I can imagine I'll be making more :)

The baby bed came and we got it all put together:) We needed something small to put in our room for the next few months and I really love the looks of these moses basket stands. The basket comes out easily so If I want to transport it wherever I am it's really convenient. I don't have the bumper in there yet, so it looks a little on the plain side, but with baby in it it'll be perfect :)

Pinata time!

I know this is a little on the longer side, but I knew family back home will enjoy watching this :) Logan had a great time with the dino pinata, despite how long it took to break open (man, those things are solid)

Yesterday we had Logan's third birthday party! Since the baby is coming in less than a month I wanted to make this a special day all about him. Logan does not have very many little buddies here so our guest list included his daddy aged big brothers, a dog and his one little friend Sammy. With special decorations coming from a friend back home I was really excited about how everything was going to turn out. But when Saturday rolled around and the decorations had not come yet, I went into shear panic. I guess there was a mix up on dates so they were not going to be here in time. With twenty four hours till the party hour I raced to the craft store and bought stickers, spray paint, ribbon, paper, and all sorts of art supplies. I was determined that we would at least have cupcake toppers and a banner. After several hours of cutting, gluing, and redoing things till they turned out right, the toppers were and part of the banner were done. (I still had to spray paint the card board letter I got to attach to the banner) In the end I was quite pleased with how things turned out :)

Since I didn't realized till a few days ago that I planned his party on super bowl Sunday, we ended up having a Superbowl birthday party! It was a fun day, Logan had a blast and was completely spoiled by his favorite big brothers.
Tomorrow is his actual third Birthday so I getting ready for a second, but much much smaller celebration with just mommy and daddy.

Although I did not get a picture of it, on the last few words of singing happy birthday, the candle lit the topper on fire! It was quite somethin and Logan did not know what to think...

Logan and his new bike... It was his Christmas present from us, but since we weren't home for the Holiday to give it to him he got it a little late, (a few weeks ago, I'm a little behind on posting this...) He loved it all the same :) it's been fin watching him figure it out! now we just need the days to warn up so mommy doesn't mind sitting outside with him.
