Wake up to a beautiful sunny day, enjoy a sweet juicy nectarine for breakfast, take a stroll to the pond with Logan, the smell of my pumpkin spice candle, Logan playing in the pool on the back porch, laughter in the background, a moment to sit and read a good book...

play time with daddy...

As I've said before it rains here pretty much everyday, therefore we always have some good mud puddles right outside to play in. This was outdoor time with daddy yesterday :)
Just chillin in the mud making funny faces
Even though he's just jumping, it looks like he's drinking from a mud fountain...High five daddy... O daddy you're so silly :)

Lately my days have consisted of: Laying on the couch, feeling sick, string cheese, sounds of Caillou and curious George in the background, realizing i didn't make dinner, hopes that tomorrow I will feel better so I can get out of the house and do something fun!

In almost twelve weeks of being pregnant six of those I have felt gross. When I was pregnant with Logan I was a little nausea, but not to the extent that it's been this time. Once I got home from my last trip to Seattle it kicked in big time. I went from working out several time a week, taking Logan to the park, and swimming often, to waking up feeling like I had to throw up and laying on the couch as much as I could. As they day progressed so did the tiredness and sick feeling. I think I've worked out only a handful of times since then :( With my not feeling good came a strong sensitivity to smells, therefore making it hard to cook dinner. My poor wonderful husband has been so understanding, making dinner for me, getting random things for me, and taking care of most of Logan dirty diapers. I think he's eaten more than his share of Ramen, tuna, and baked beans! I'm not complaining, morning sickness is a good sign of healthiness, but I'm looking forward to it going away and getting back into a normal routine:) Hopefully in the next week or so :)

This next week I have my twelfth week appointment, Yaaaay! they will listen to the heart beat this time and I can't wait! I'm also really nervous though. I have had a lot of friends who have recently experienced the loss of a precious baby, it's hard to know why God has so far allowed me to carry this gift when those close to me have had it taken away! I am so thankful for this precious baby and can't wait to hear the little beating heart...

Stuck in the mud

This is what I saw when I stepped outside on our porch this evening. Logan had apparently jumped into this mud puddle and was stuck. It took a little effort on Scott's part to pull him out. He was having a great time.
When we pulled him out, the boots were covered in thick mud
His poor little feet were suctioned into the boots...
